For Axel & the owner · Lagoon 400 S2 "Secret of Life"
Our intention is to turn her into a fully-equipped, blue-water liveaboard and content base. This is how we'd love to take her on, and a clean, fast handover that's good for everyone.
The right hands
We've fallen for her and we're ready to move. We're the kind of buyer you want across the table — straightforward, decisive, and in it for the long run.
Funded in full by KGC Media via bank transfer — no financing, no chain, nothing that can fall through.
A VAT-registered Cyprus company buying from a Croatian company — a simple, clean intra-EU transaction.
She becomes our floating office and content hub — we want her right, and we want her for years, so we'll invest properly in her future.
Our vision for her
Secret of Life has served beautifully. We want to give her a second life — fully self-sufficient and off-grid: her own power, her own water, her own climate, and the systems to live and work aboard her anywhere.
That's a meaningful investment on top of the purchase, and it's exactly why we've thought carefully about where she is today and where we'll take her — so the entry point has to be right for both sides.
What we'll bring to her
Beyond the purchase, we'll equip her with the systems to be fully self-sufficient.
How we'd do it
Everything above is why we'll be the right home for her. Here is how we arrive at the figure, openly and step by step.
Two reference points
What she'll need
After eleven years, these are the honest, sensible updates to bring her to the standard we'll keep her in — costed line by line, and the basis for where we land on price.

|---|---|---|
| Sails | Main + genoa at the end of their life — replacement due next season | €10.000 |
| Standing rigging | At the 11-year replacement age — due for renewal | €8.000 |
| Saildrive seals + anodes | Diaphragm service due, plus anodes | €3.500 |
| Dinghy + outboard | Tired and at the end of its life — needs replacing | €5.000 |
| Refrigeration | Both fridges need replacing | €5.000 |
| Chartplotter | The current unit is dated — a new 12"/16" is needed | €3.500 |
| Anchor + bow chain fitting | Anchor outdated; the chain-guide fitting is worn / cracked | €2.500 |
| Front windows | Exterior paint/coating is chipped and missing — needs refinishing | €3.000 |
| Flooring + interior woodwork | Refresh of flooring and woodwork | €3.000 |
| Cushions | Current set is aftermarket and worn — replace, or supply the originals in good condition | €3.500 |
| Heads & sanitation | Toilets serviced; sanitation hoses & grey-water tank renewed; full de-odorise | €4.000 |
| Antifouling + polish | Plus the annual service (oil & checks) | €3.500 |
| 3-month berth | Marina berth covering the handover period | €3.000 |
| Documented updates | €57.500 | |
The updates we've identified come to €57.500 — we've kept our correction to a round €55.000.
Where we land
A fair, transparent figure we can complete on quickly — and from there we pour our own investment into her future.
Making her timeless
Three things make her ours: the purchase, bringing her up to spec, and the off-grid systems she's never had. We cap this season's start-up at €250.000 — the purchase plus the priorities — and carry air-conditioning and the comfort refresh into next season. Even at €180.000, that's a €288.500+ commitment to her.
We'd happily talk any of this through. We think Secret of Life deserves exactly this kind of second life — and we'd be proud to give it to her.
